What is Long Term Care Insurance?
Long term care insurance (also known as 'LTC' or 'LTCI') can be purchased to ensure that you or your loved one are covered for the costs assocaited with home care, skilled nursing (nursing homes), assited living, hospice, or Alzheimer's care. LTC insurance covers the costs that generally are not covered by other forms of health insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare.
